Kris Kubin

Kris Kubin joined Customplan Financial Advisors’ Manitoba Branch as Marketing Director in January 2026. His career in the insurance and financial services industry spans more than three decades and began with North American Life, where he worked in claims and customer service.

Thereafter, Kris earned his Canadian Securities Course designation becoming mutual fund licensed while holding life insurance licences across most Canadian provinces. Throughout his career, he has worked with both individual and group clients—large and small—across Canada, while remaining based in Winnipeg.

Kris later gained experience as a wholesaler for two insurance carriers and, in 2016, joined an MGA as a Business Development Manager. He continues to consult on advisor- and carrier-focused technology tools, bringing a forward-looking perspective to advisor support.

Having worked across nearly every angle of the industry—carrier, MGA, advisor, and consultant—Kris brings a practical, real-world understanding of what helps advisors grow their businesses. He is known for simplifying complexity, building effective systems, fostering strong relationships, and for his belief that the industry advances when we focus on helping first.
